Monica von Ochs is a non-playable character in Fire Emblem: Three Houses. She is a former student of Garreg Mach Monastery from the Black Eagles who disappeared before graduation.
Monica makes a more prominent appearance in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes where she is a playable character.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses[]
Monica is a former Black Eagles member who disappeared during a trip home not long before graduation, and it was speculated that she had run away.
In the year 1180, Monica and Flayn are discovered under Jeritza's quarters, where they had just fought the Death Knight until he was forced to flee from the Flame Emperor. Upon her discovery, Monica is allowed to reattend the academy to finish her graduation.
However, it is eventually revealed that Monica is actually the assassin Kronya, who disguised herself as Monica. It is never said what happened to the real Monica, although Seteth speculates Kronya may have killed her.
Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes[]
In the alternate timeline of Three Hopes, Monica is discovered by Shez and their classmates, who prevent her from being replaced by Kronya. Monica then rejoins the Black Eagles and fights alongside them.
