MACS

The Military Multipurpose Arcade Combat Simulator (MACS) is a light gun game made by Sculptured Software, Inc. It was designed to be used by the U.S. Army as a target practice training simulator. The U.S. Army employed the game as part of their basic training from at least 1996 to 2001. MACS made later appearances at Army recruitments events and at least one unit was passed down to a JROTC program University of Cincinnati as recently as 2007[1].

The game was made to be used in conjunction with a proprietary light gun modeled after the Jäger AP 74 semi automatic rifle.
