Mega Man Battle Network 3 is a Game Boy Advance video game released in 2003 by Capcom. This game started the trend in the series of having multiple versions, much like the Pokémon series. Mega Man Battle Network 3 came out in 2 versions, Blue and White. These games were basically the same, but they had slightly different sets of battle chips. In order to collect all of the battle chips, the player had to trade with someone who had the other version (once again like Pokémon). The next three games in the Battle Network series, as well as the Star Force series, have continued the tradition of having multiple versions.
