The Master Cycle Zero also refered to as the Master Cycle is a Bike Body that introduced as a part of the first DLC pack of Mario Kart 8 where it was Link's prefered vehicle. It was later featured in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, the Nintendo Switch port, where it is included in the base game. It was then properly introduced in a mainline Zelda game in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild as the reward for completing "The Champions' Ballad" DLC.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild[]

In Breath of the Wild, the Master Cycle Zero is a Divine Beast, an automaton created by the ancient Sheikah to help in the fight against Calamity Ganon. The beast twas intended to serve as a vehicle for the Hero of the Wild before his fall. Unlike the four other Divine Beasts that are titanic metal statues, the Master Cycle Zero is verily smaller, and resembles a horse with wheels instead of legs. It is rewarded after defeating the Monk Maz Koshia at the end of the Final Trial. It can then be summoned by using the dedicated Rune on the Sheikah Slate. Like real Bikes, the Master Cycle Zero require fuel and Link can convert his Materials into fuel.

Mario Kart series[]

Mario Kart 8/Mario Kart 8 Deluxe[]

The Master Cycle is Link's prefered vehicle. It is usually used with the Triforce Tires and the Hylian Kite. It can also be used with the Ancient Tires and the Paraglider in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
