Malanya is a character in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and its sequel, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. He is a deity who watches over the horses of the world and will revive the horses that died during Link's journey.

Malanya was trapped inside of a Fairy Fountain for a unspecified length of time before the events of the game and requires 1,000 Rupees.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild[]
Malanya was freed by Link who procured him with the required Rupees, the God in exchange propose to the hero to bring back to life any horses that died during his perilous travels.

- Malanya's theme music, which plays in Malanya's Spring after the player has paid him 1,000 Rupees, is a combination of the Lon Lon Ranch theme from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and the Great Fairy Fountain music.
- The Chinese names Ma means "horse", Lan means "orchid", a type of flower, and Ya means "elegant" and "refined".
