Kulshedra in Bayonetta.

Kulshedra is a whip infused with the soul of Kulshedra, a Serpentine demon, by Rodin. The weapon is exclusive to Bayonetta, Jeanne's version of the weapon is called Vritra. Kulshedra is very useful when it comes to controling the battlefield by giving Bayonetta great ranges, speed and crowd control.

In game description[]

"A possessed whip, sealing away the soul of the ancient serpentine demon Kulshedra. Summoning the power of the demon from a portal on the weapon's hilt, it can be used in the same manner as a normal whip."

How to Obtain[]

In Bayonetta, the Golden LP for the weapon is broken into 2 pieces. The first piece can be found in verse 4 just after defeating Fairness. The second piece is located on a small island just after entering Paradiso in verse 8.

Trivia[]

  • Kulshedra is named after a serpentine dragon in Albanian folklore, also known as the Bolla. It causes droughts and lives off human sacrifices. It is sometimes represented as an enormous, hairy woman.
