Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams is a 2D platformer developed by Black Forest Games. It's a successor to the game Giana Sisters which originally copied several elements of Super Mario Bros. In the Wii U, a Director's Cut version was released in 2015, and years later a definitive edition called Owltimate Edition was ported to the Switch by HandyGames.
Gameplay[]
Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams is a fairly standard 2D platformer except the player can switch between Giana's "Cute" and "Punk" personas to change the world. Players collect crystals for points and can discover secrets in the level
Plot[]
The plot of the game is about Giana's sister, Maria getting abducted into the Dream World by the evil dragon Gurglewocky. Giana, who is now a teenager compared to the last entry, must delve into the Dream World to save her. With her new teenage transformation powers, she must delve into the Dream World and deal with her inner conflict
Reception[]
The Wii U version received "mixed to average" reviews from critics according to Metacritic with a current Metascore of 74/100.[1]
