Fire Punch is a damage dealing Fire-type move in the Pokémon series, first introduced in the first generation. The Pokémon ignites their fist and strikes their opponent with a flaming punch, burning their target in addition to the blunt force of the hit. It is a physical move, which means the user makes direct contact with their opponent when performing it. Fire Punch has a 10% chance of giving an opponent the Burn status effect.
