Din is a character in The Legend of Zelda series. She is named after Din, the goddess of power. She first appeared in the Game Boy Color game The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages and The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons where she mostly lived in Holodrum. History[]

Unified Timeline[]

The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap[]

In The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, she is found alongside Nayru and Farore in the Happy Hearth Inn. She says that she is looking for a house, if Link helps her, she will give him her Charm. Din's Charm can be stored in an Empty Bottle. Her charm will turn Link's tunic red and will greatly boost his attack. It is a greater boost than Farore's charm, who will boost both attack and defense but to a lesser extent.

Downfall Timeline[]

Oracles[]

In Oracle of Seasons, Din is a famous dancer in the land of Holodrum. She is also the Oracle of Seasons tasked with keeping the four seasons of Holodrum in check. At the beginning of the game, she is seen traveling with a Troupe of Performers in order to evade General Onox, who was sent to capture her by Twinrova in order to lit the Flame of Destruction.

Upon meeting her, Din asks Link to dance with her. While they are dancing, the sky darkens and she is captured by Onox who brings her to his castle where she is imprisoned in a crystal. Onox then burry the Temple of Seasons in the earth, which throws the seasons out of balance due to the lack of an oracle. Link sets out to gather the Essences of Nature and fix Holodrum's seasons. He eventually stumble upon the burried temple in the subterranean land of Subrosia, and use the Rod of Seasons to change the seasons at will in order to help him in his quest. Link eventually gather the Essences and defeat Onox thus freeing Din.

If the game is linked with Oracle of Ages, she will appear alongside Nayru to transport Link to the Room of Rites where he face Twinrova and Ganon whose resurection was botched due to the Hylian's actions.
