Capcom's Soccer Shootout, also known as J.League Excite Stage '94 in Japan or just Soccer Shootout in Europe, is a sports game, more focused on football, produced in 1994 by Capcom for the SNES platform. Unlike many other football games (see PES or FIFA), Soccer Shootout is not part of a series.

Gameplay[]

Soccer Shootout presents six different modes of play: "Exhibition", "Main Game", "All-Stars", "Indoor Game", "P.K" And "Training". The player is asked to choose one of the aforementioned modes that appear on the home screen and, subsequently, one of the 12 national teams included in the game. There are no club teams and the names of the players are fictitious, although in some cases the inspiration from some real footballers is perceived by the likeness of the names.
