The game is set in a fantasy environment, and the player takes the role of young swordsman Albert. While much of the world remains in relative peace following a great war years earlier, a military faction led by Globus has appeared to conquer the newly pacified nations and expand their empire. Assisted by friends, Albert must travel around the world and eventually fight Golbus and his forces to prevent another major conflict.
