Agent J is the main playable character and de facto mascot of Elite Beat Agents. He's the playable character in Cruisn' (Medium) difficulty. He also appears in the game's cover, alongside backup dancers Agent Morris and Derek. He also appears as a Trophy and Sticker in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, as well as a Spirit in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Members of a secret governmental agency, characterized by their black suits and sunglasses. Led by Commander Kahn, the agents serve to assist individuals around the world who are in crisis, responding to their cries for help. The groove that resonates from their dances inspires the troubled, helping them overcome their predicaments.
