Achtung! Cthulhu Tactics is a tactical turn-based role-playing game for the Nintendo Switch developed by Auroch Digital and published by Ripstone. It takes place in an alternate history where the Nazis discovered something dangerous and not of this world.
Gameplay[]
The game plays like similar to other tactics games, most notably the recent XCOM games. The player controls a squad of soldiers that can be independently controlled. The soldier have only a limited view with information limited when enemies are away from their scope. Like other tactics games, there is a cover system so that, soldiers in proper cover get better defenses. Unlike XCOM, the player must dictate the soldier's line of sight with it being a limited cone. When the player can't find the enemy, they can activate overwatch that allows them to automatically fire on the enemies' turn.
Plot[]
The player controls squad of soldiers must fight behind the enemy lines in the World War II led by Eric 'Badger' Harris. The Nazis in this timeline have discovered some eldritch horror leading the Allies to be wary when investigating.
