The ASCII keyboard controller is a controller made for the Nintendo GameCube in Japan. It is similar to the standard controller but it features an alphanumeric keyboard in the middle of it that contains hiragana and Latin characters. All of the standard buttons that are present on a normal GameCube controller are also there, except for rumble support. The start button, which is in the center of a standard GameCube controller, has been moved to the left side of the keyboard.
