Angry Video Game Nerd[]
The Angry Video Game Nerd dedicated an episode to reviewing this game. He criticized the lack of continues and one-hit deaths. Especially criticized is the "endurance" stage, in which all power-ups must be acquired extremely quickly while not getting hit and doing it all in a specified time. He also nitpicked about the year, which he claims was not far enough in time to avoid being laughed at. He also criticized the lack of references and resemblance to the main franchise.
Trivia[]
- The Final Fight portion was added by the North American localization to try and tie it to the Final Fight series, even though it has nothing to do with the series
- Aside from the main character being named Ken (in the Western versions only) and suggested to be Ken Masters, it has nothing to do with the Street Fighter franchise.
