1UP is a gaming website owned by IGN. It is named after an item(a) that grants a "extra" life by raising the total by 1, hence 1-up. Like other gaming websites, it has information on Nintendo DS and Wii games. Their logo and their link has ".com" in it, but the name does not.
1UP was once the online hub for various Ziff Davis video game magazines such as Electronic Gaming Monthly before the publications were discontinued.
