18 Classic Card Games is a mini game compilation of only card related games. It is a cut down version of 100 Classic Games and 50 more Classic Games with only the card games from those games included in this one.
18 Classic Card Games is also known as 18 Card Games in the UK.
There is also a version released only in Germany called 11 Kartenspiele or 11 Card Games. This seems to be the same game but with a few less games included even though the version with all 18 games was already released in Germany. The cartridge sold in this release also has English and Spanish languages on it and the cartridge shows the English title despite no evidence of an English or Spanish release or box of this version exists.

Critics don't seem too impressed with this title, often complaining about a lack of multiplayer options and polish. Jeux Video gave it a 10/20 stating "These 18 card games brought together in a compilation will obviously allow each player, novice as well as enlightened amateur, to participate in a few quick games. The overall lack of finish and the flagrant and detrimental absence of a multiplayer mode make it a passable and dispensable title." (Google Translated).
Planet DS gave it a 48% out of 100% stating "If you're being friendly, you could call "11 Kartenspiele" puristic. You pretty much get what the title promises. No less, but unfortunately no more either. Because despite the immensely more appealing look, the games included are pretty much already available for the DS in some form. A good 70% even in a product from the same makers! Without a proper multiplayer mode, you'll run out of steam very quickly, because playing against the AI doesn't last forever. There are better and more extensive alternatives, such as "42 classic games".
