Storytime in the Commons
Storytime in the Commons series returns to the Public Media Commons in Grand Center! These popular events present Nine PBS KIDS content, characters, and family-friendly themes that encourage kids to build a love of learning.
Meet and take photos with your favorite PBS KIDS® characters. Hear stories read aloud as the books are shared on our big outdoor screen. Participate in fun activities for the whole family including crafts, games, and more.
The events are free, but registration is required.
PBS KIDS characters are based on availability and subject to change. Stories start at 10:00 am.

Storytime in the Commons: Celebrating Each Other
This Spring, join Nine PBS and St. Louis Public Library as we meet a new friend—Carl the Collector! See an excerpt from this exciting new PBS KIDS favorite, and join other PBS KIDS characters as we hear stories and participate in activities that celebrate what makes each person special. Learn more about Carl and his friends here! This event will be sensory-friendly and take place indoors. Space is limited.

Storytime in the Commons: Be My Neighbor Day
This fall, our final Storytime event of the year celebrates the joy of being part of a community with St. Louis Public Library, the St. Louis Fire Department, and more! The fun includes a special chance to meet Daniel Tiger and other friends from PBS KIDS favorite Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood.
