The Three Popes (三人の教皇, San'nin no Kyōkō) are supporting characters in Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon. They are a new leaders of Curia after the previous Pope's demise, as well as converted the latter's dictatorial into parliamentary.
Appearance[]
All three Popes wear the same outfit consisting of a long black robe brimmed with intricate golden ornamentations. They all also wear the same tall, pointed black and golden hats. The outfit cloaks their appearance in almost their entirety, with only part of their face, eyes, eyebrows and gray hair being visible. The only distinction in their appearance can be found in their hairstyle and eye color. Espheria has long weaved hair with purple eyes, Beatria has long braids with red eyes and Amuria has short hair with blue eyes.
Personality[]
The Popes speak in a concise manner, very similiraly to Ludegert's cloaked form. According to Camilla, the Popes often don't agree with each other on what needs to be done.
History[]
After Ludegert was defeated by Arnice, the Three Popes took her place as leaders of the Curia. Every time the Moon Queen appears, they choose a Saint, known as the Bride of Time, strong enough to keep her at bay. The Curia has also led experiments to create half-demon knights, Muveil being one of their failed experiments.
Relationships[]
Camilla - As the Curia's scientist, the popes often contact Camilla to hand her tasks and assignments.
