- Hotaru Takes 100 Damage! <3 Suzukaze Aoba may look like a middle schooler, but she's actually fresh out of high school and starting a new job on the character team of a game company. Not only is she working for the company that put out one of her favorite games, she also gets to spend her days modeling and creating characters. Follow her adorable shenanigans in this 4-panel slice of life as she learns the ropes of the industry and gets to know her co-workers.

- The author wanted to do Kou's past as well, but thought the story would be dark; the main character is Aoba, so he did Aoba's past.
- Originally, this volume was considered to be published as "Volume 0", but it was soon realized to be impossible to label the volume "Volume 0" due to the publishing rule.[1]
