New Game! (ニューゲーム, Nyū Gēmu) is a Japanese four-panel manga series by Shōtarō Tokunō, which began serialization in Houbunsha's seinen manga magazine Manga Time Kirara Carat from January 2013 and is licensed by Seven Seas Entertainment. An anime adaptation by Doga Kobo aired in Japan between July and September 2016 followed by a second season in July 2017. A video game developed by 5pb. was released in January 2017.
Plot[]
In her young days, Aoba Suzukaze was inspired by the character designs of a particular video game developed by Eagle Jump. She began working as the developer's character designer after graduating high school. As she works on modeling and designing characters for games in development, she becomes acquainted with her fellow co-workers in the character design department, as well as those from across the company.
