Сојата (науч. Glycine) е род од фамилијата на бобови растенија. Најпознат негов член е прехранбената соја (Glycine max). Највеќето видови од родот се среќаваат само во Австралија, но прехранбената соја потекнува исклучиво од источна Азија. Неколку вида се протегаат од Австралија до источна Азија (на пр. G. tomentella и G. tabacina).

Разни видови од родот Соја се храна за ларвите на некои видови пеперуги. Забележано е присуството на назабената земјомерка (Ectropis crepuscularia), совицата детелинарка (Anarta trifolii) и подгризувачката совица (Agrotis segetum).
