Tex-Mex options have always been few and far between in South Florida, but that might be changing when beloved Texas chain Chuy’s opens in Doral this fall at 8001 NW 36th Street.

Marking the restaurant’s 90th location in the U.S., Chuy's best know for its funky decor, Elvis shrine found in every outpost, metal palm trees, hubcap-covered ceiling, and its La Chihuahua Bar showcasing local’s dog photos.

On the menu expect traditional Tex-Mex fare like stuffed chile rellenos, enchiladas and “Big As Yo’ Face Burritos,” that’s size is “guaranteed.” Its happy hour will also make an appearance in Miami, which will be offered every weekday from 4 to 7 p.m. complete with a fully-loaded nacho car offering a free, unlimited, build-your-own nacho station housed in the trunk of a vintage car.

The restaurant is slated to open sometime in October 2017, and when it does it’ll be open for lunch and dinner daily.
