If you're a big fan of those little petite sandwiches from 100 Montaditos, all hope may not be lost. As we reported back in March, the Spanish-based chain 100 Montaditos filed bankruptcy in the state of Florida, closing a slew of stores in our area and leaving only four locations in the state.
But the company has restructured bringing on a new management team led by Ignacio Garcia Nieto, who previously served as the Franchise Development Director for 100 Montaditos in the U.S. and Latin America, and it's opening a new location next week in Miami Lakes at 6843 Main Street.
The company says in a release that it is "confident of its emergence from bankruptcy later this year." The new store will be open come July 14 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., seven days a week.
