The cataclysmic events of New Year in EastEnders are set to cause shockwaves well into January.
There is set to be a shock discovery for three mystery Walford residents next month, as the fallout from Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) and Eve Unwin’s (Heather Peace) wedding continues.
As yet, it is unknown exactly what will unfold as the couple prepare to tie the knot on New Year’s Day – but we do know that the special episodes will see Nish Panesar’s (Navin Chowdhry) evil plan come to fruition.
Nish is currently in hiding plotting revenge on his ex-wife after staging an armed escape from police custody earlier this month.
After his final act unfolds in dramatic fashion at the couple’s nuptials next week, advance spoilers for the following week’s episodes have teased the aftermath.
The Panesars are struggling to come to terms with the events of New Year, but fresh bomshells continue to shock the family.
Meanwhile, three unidentified locals Walford weigh up the best course of action after they make an unexpected discovery.
After much discussion, the trio attempt to keep what they’ve found hidden, but their plan proves far more difficult than first expected…

Balvinder Sopal, who plays Suki, previously teased some ‘high-intensity drama’ ahead for her on-screen family.
She said: ‘Drama follows them everywhere, so yes in true EastEnders, Walford-style, you can expect the Panesar’s to bring a whole load of high-intensity drama.’
