Doctor Torres was assigned to Trish Walker's care when she was brought into Riverbank Medical Center. She told Dorothy Walker and Jessica Jones that she had heard of similar cases of back-alley doctors taking advantage of people who want powers.[1] Trish suddenly went into cardiac arrest and Torres was there to see her wake up. Torres told her that she used two of her nine lives.[2]
