The Sokovian Police Department was the national police force of Sokovia, responsible for law enforcement, criminal investigation, and public safety within the country.

The Sokovian Police Department was the national police force of Sokovia, and has been at the forefront of much of the country's political and civil turmoil. The department was involved in maintaining order during protests around the country, along with international peacekeeping missions.[1]
Ultron Offensive[]

Pietro Maximoff rushed into the police station and demanded to clear Novi Grad because of incoming threat of Ultron. However, all of the officers just ignored his warnings. Then Maximoff frightened them into action by firing an RPK light machine gun into the roof of their police station. Sokovian police mobilized and assisted Avengers with the evacuation of citizens.
During the battle, officers of the department aided the Avengers in fighting off swarms of Ultron Sentries. During the clash, one of the officers accidentally shot Maximoff. After the arrival of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Helicarrier, the surviving officers evacuated the remaining citizens and themselves.[1]
