"This prototype can replace the severed limb of a soldier in minutes, with one ten times stronger, fully networked to the soldier's biometrics and to his optical targeting system."
Ian Quinn to Jacobs[src]

The Project Deathlok Installer was a device built by Cybertek, which would install cybernetic enhancements to Deathlok Soldiers.

History[]

Deathlok Upgrades[]

"I'd like to build dozens of these machines. Increase the scale of our surgery wing, crank out a hundred soldiers a day."
"To join our special ops unit?"
"No. To replace them."
Ian Quinn and Jacobs[src]

While Ian Quinn was giving a tour of the Cybertek Manufacturing Facility to members of the United States Armed Forces, he showed them the Project Deathlok Installer, which he claimed could replace severed limbs of soldiers within minutes. Upon being pressed for more specifics about the design, Quinn claimed that he wanted to use to build more of these machines to create new Deathlok Soldiers, so that they could be used to replace divisions within the army, although Jacobs had remained unsure about his propositions.

Following a battle against S.H.I.E.L.D., who had taken over the facility, John Garrett had then dragged his broken body over to the installer, knowing that he only had moments left to live. Garrett used to machine to give himself cybernetic upgrades, including two Forearm Rocket Launcher and Cybertek Prosthetic Legs, as well as new body armor. Once the installation was complete, Garrett stood up and commented that he would be unstoppable now, only for Phil Coulson to shoot Garrett with the Peruvian 0-8-4, destroying him and all his upgrades.[1]
