The Masters of the Mystic Arts are an order of sorcerers who were committed to protecting the Earth from mystical threats.

History

Giving Away the Time Stone

During the Battle of New York, the Ancient One stood her guard to protect the New York Sanctum from the Chitauri army. She was approached by Hulk who requested the Time Stone, so the Avengers could undo the Snap in their timeline, but the Ancient One refused, claiming that removing the Infinity Stones might endanger their timeline. However, Banner then informed her that Doctor Strange gave away the Stone to Thanos willingly, which made the Ancient One realize that Strange planned all of this and trusted Banner with the Stone.
