Daisy Johnson's Hearings[]
As a United States Senator, Nunez took part to Daisy Johnson's preliminary hearing as she came to sign the Sokovia Accords. Nunez asked Johnson whether she fully understood how signing the Accords would change her activities and that she would have to answer to the public.
Nunez then listened as her colleague Ellen Nadeer asked a series of questions to Johnson, and was surprised when Nadeer revealed that Phil Coulson and Yo-Yo Rodriguez had been arrested for trying to break into Nadeer's office. Following their arrest, the hearings were suspended.[1]
