Admiral Jolnes is a high-ranking officer of the United States Navy. He met with Ian Quinn about the possibility of the United States purchasing a number of Cybertek Super Soldiers but after a tour of the facility revealed that Cybertek was working with HYDRA turned them down.

Cybertek Deal[]

After the dissolution of S.H.I.E.L.D., Jolnes and Jacobs had a meeting in Washington, D.C. with Ian Quinn. At the meeting, Quinn proposed to sell one thousand Super Soldiers created by the Cybertek to the United States Armed Forces, and invited him and Jacobs to visit the brand new Cybertek Manufacturing Facility in New Mexico.^[1]

Jolnes went on the tour with Jacobs and five other military representatives. During the tour, gunfire was heard but Quinn assured everyone that it was a drill. Grant Ward and John Garrett arrived and Garrett began an argument with Jacobs. Jolnes witnessed Garrett rip out one of Jacobs' ribs and use it to kill him. Then Ward tied up the tourists, including Jolnes. Ultimately, he was saved by Coulson's Team.^[2]
