The GT Agrochemical Facility in Michigan was the headquarters of the most cutting-edge research division of the GT Agrochemical company. They studied invasive species, notably birds and bugs, and worked on genetically engineered crops which could resist to such species.[1]
Holden Radcliffe used to work in the GT Agrochemical Facility, but he was eventually fired for conducting irregular experiments.[2]
Raid of the GT Agrochemical Facility[]

The GT Agrochemical Facility was attacked by a team of HYDRA operatives led by R. Giyera. They seized many research data and equipment which they needed and destroyed the rest. S.H.I.E.L.D. soon joined the lab in an attempt to stop HYDRA. They explored the facility and assessed the damages caused by HYDRA.
Phil Coulson incapacitated two HYDRA operatives and soon encountered Giyera himself. Knowing that Giyera was too powerful for him, Coulson fled and left Melinda May to fight Giyera in an airlock. After a violent fight, May defeated and captured Giyera. S.H.I.E.L.D. then left the facility with Giyera as a prisoner.[1]
