The Assassination of Cartel Sicario was the result of a planned assassination mission orchestrated by Punisher aimed at killing the last member of New York's Mexican Cartel branch.

Background

Frank Castle assassinated Ray Schoonover and helped Daredevil take down Nobu Yoshioka, and visited his former residence for one last time, retrieving a CD with the name "MICRO" written on it.

Castle then proceeded to set the house on fire before leaving New York and setting out to execute the remaining members of the gangs responsible for killing his wife and children.

Assassination

The Punisher tracked down the last member of the Mexican Cartel to kill him. He fled to Juárez, Mexico, where he received a hero's welcome. The Punisher arrived to El Paso, Texas where he took aim at him from a sniper rifle. As Cartel Sicario was celebrating, he was shot and killed by the Punisher from Mexican border.

Aftermath

"You won! You... you killed everyone! The bikers, the cartels, the Kitchen Irish, they're all gone!"

The Punisher went on with his revenge and tracked down the last member of Kitchen Irish, Mickey O'Hare in New York City, killing him. Finishing his goal, Castle decided to lay low and start a new life as a construction worker, under the name 'Pete Castiglione'.
