The Anti-Goblin Serum is an anti-serum designed by Spider-Man to eliminate the Green Goblin alter from Norman Osborn.

Helping the Villains[]

After stealing the Macchina di Kadavus from Doctor Strange that would send a group of universes displaced villains back home, Peter Parker went back to Happy Hogan's condominium with the group to try and help them. After arriving, Parker worked with Norman Osborn to design cures for the villains and himself. Once they cured Otto Octavius, who joined them in curing the others, they worked on an anti-serum to combat Osborn's Green Goblin alter.
May Parker grabs the Anti-Goblin Serum
Unfortunately, Osborn's Green Goblin alter retook control of his body, as noticed by Parker's Spider-Sense, and convinced the villains to turn against Spider-Man, his Aunt May and Octavius. Luckily, during the attack and before the serum was destroyed by Electro, Sandman and Green Goblin, May managed to grab the unfinished cures for the three and Lizard in continuous hopes of eventually being able to actually cure them.
May fails to cure Norman Osborn
While Green Goblin was attacking Spider-Man and tried to kill him, May ran towards him from behind and quickly injected him with the anti-goblin serum. However, the serum failed as the cure did not work, since it was still a work-in-progress. As a result of the cure not working, Green Goblin stayed in control of Osborn and killed May before flying away.[1]
A Second Serum[]
Peter Parker creates a new anti-serum

After Peter Parker encountered two other versions of himself, the Peter Parker from Osborn's home universe volunteered to make a new anti-serum.[1] Parker was able to successfully create a new anti-serum and an improved injection device using a combination of duct tape, CO2 cartridges and a hot glue gun.[2]
Osborn is cured of the Green Goblin alter
During the battle on the Statue of Liberty, Parker violently attacked Green Goblin out of pure-hatred that he had for him after he had killed Aunt May. Before Parker could kill Green Goblin, he was stopped by the Parker of Osborn's universe. Peter 3 then threw the anti-serum as Parker caught it and injected into Osborn's neck, successfully eliminating his Goblin alter for good.[1]

The Anti-Goblin Serum is capable of suppressing the effects of the Green Goblin alter as a permanent fixture for voices caused by it, through undoing the mutation that caused insanity within its users, whilst stripping them away from their powers.[1]
