The Great Scenic Railway

The iconic heart of Luna Park is just as exhilarating as it was when it opened back in 1912. The dips and turns of its almost 1km wooden track will put the wind in your hair and reveal stunning views of Port Phillip Bay. The Great Scenic Railway is heritage listed, has 967 metres of track, 322 track posts and stands at 16 metres tall. Each train weighs nearly 2 tonnes and reaches speeds of 60km/h!
