I swear Letterboxd reviews are the funniest! Every time I scroll through my activity, I find myself chuckling or laughing out loud reacting to those damn one-liners. For people who write verbose reviews, If I don't read the entire thing, I promise, I'll at least read the intro and the outro, or anything in particular that you might have highlighted. I have a terrible attention span for longer reviews, but I try my best if it interests me. Keep 'em coming!
My biggest leap in 2023 was embracing Sci-Fi movies! (how about you?) I wasn't the biggest fan of it previously, used to shake my head all the time and harass myself to just watch. I've come to realize that I enjoy them as much as I enjoy watching my other fav genres. I did not see that coming
I hope you do enjoy my reviews. I write reviews on a whim -- based on how I feel just after watching movies. I tend to write longer reviews if I'm overwhelmed by a feeling or something that I experienced affected me exceptionally and can't stop thinking about it (both good and bad.) I sometimes can't get something off my mind for weeks or months. It's such a great feeling isn't it?
Since I'm still affected by the COIVD situation (probably in the minority,) because of my terrible health, I haven't had the chance to go to the movies yet. Hopefully that'll change for the better (super bummed to have missed out on that.) Nonetheless, my experience with the movies this year was nothing less than phenomenal
