"That kid gives me the creeps."
The movie that started my fear of death. Well, that and every intro to Six Feet Under. Definitely not good for an anxious teen but that's why it's fun guys! Cuz I'm scared! Of death! *maniacal laughter for 30 seconds*, cue sobbing, and CUT.
Surprised this holds up as well it does. Yes, the dialogue is really lacking but the deathstalgia makes me still love it. Final Destination is like if Rube Goldberg just really hated teenagers and I kinda get that. With Devon Sawa (childhood crush), Kerr Smith (teen crush), and Ali Larter (possible love of my life), this movie will give you phobias about: planes, bathtubs, John Denver, computers, lightning, John Denver, vehicles, and of course, France. Yet Alex miraculously gets over each of these deaths in about 10 seconds. He's either a sociopath or very resilient, probably both.
My favorite part is on the poster how everyone is wearing the same shade of lip gloss. That's not a thing my friends and I did in high school but these kids really wanted to look cohesive.
