Gosling and Crowe made a solid onscreen duo as the inept detectives in over their heads in this comedy/mystery thriller hybrid. Angourie Rice was the star of the film to me though. She added a human quality to every situation and was often the moral compass for Gosling and Crowe's characters. Likable characters, intense shootouts, an intriguing mystery element, laugh out loud moments, witty dialogue, and the random Hannibal BEEriss cameo added to the awesomeness of this underrated gem. This needs a sequel!!
Man Gosling took a fucking beating in this film! Falling through glass, getting hit by multiple cars, and getting beat up the normal way more than once!
