With its lack of humour, uninspired references, predictable horror and simply completely lacking anything new or interesting for the series, I think this currently takes the prize for my least favourite of the series (for now), especially with it being torn between loving and hating itself for needlessly rebooting the franchise
Also everyone in this film looks like an influencer and I hate that too (except for Mikey Madison who absolutely kills it in the film)

My family chose this over Die Hard to watch this Christmas; luckily Die Hard features in this film and so we all ended up winning in the end
