This is the coming-of-age movie. This is really how it feels to be a fifteen-year-old kid, who is immature, overly ambitious, and most importantly, feels powerless. Even then, still being very imaginative and kind. The only few moments spent without smiling while watching this were spent in deep trance-like suspense. Sam Raimi is probably just about the coolest director to date. He's one of those directors that truly saturates every frame with his style, so you are always aware you're watching a Raimi film.
