Sebastian Stan and Jeremy Strong absolutely shine as Donald Trump and Roy Cohn, delivering some of the most intense performances in The Apprentice. Stan could be in huge award territory IMO.
This is simply crazy excellent, authentic, and not what you expect, this super intense biopic prompts the REAL question: Can you handle the truth? What is also super impressive to me was that Sebastian Stan gives an excellent performance as Trump, especially in the first half, set in the 1970s. Rather than do an exact impression of Trump, which could feel like parody, he’s evoking Trump’s attitude and how he carries himself.
Amazing movie, you have to make time for this one!
