Invaders from Mars with vampires, at least in concept. The result feels like Kushner-Locke studios did a remake of Plan 9 from Outer Space filmed somewhere in Romania that close resembled US suburbia.
This managed to achieve an endearing level of corniness, especially with Paula the beautiful S.E.T.I. public relations expert speaking English with a difficult to understand accent and the head alien vampire resembling a monster from a forgotten Power Rangers episode. Too bad corniness on its own doesn't quite make for a fun genre experience as Charles Band's Seed People also sadly testified.

In another not so pleasant future, a martial artist travels to what remains of Tokyo in search of his sister. In the ruined Shinjuku district, he meets an assortment of fighters and learns the criminal gang who hold his sister are in the control of an ancient evil.
