A modern film that exudes the charm of a classic is rare to find, yet Alexander Payne crafts what is a much needed return to the storytelling that values relationships, growth and reform over spectacle; laughter, tears and catharsis existing in absolute perfect harmony. The kind of art that seems to invite a rewatch every single year and one that I will personally keep revisiting with utmost certainty.
