i kinda wished i liked this more, but i also went into this thinking it was going to be something a lot different. i thought it was going to be a lot sadder just based off of what ive heard about it, but this works too. Not fully sure what to think about the ending or the premise in the first place but it was enjoyable to watch. i definitely feel like i need to rewatch this tho, just to watch everything again closer. and, per usual, jake is amazing as donne darko, i just love jake gyllenhal so much

this movie still holds up watching it at home, maybe even better than watching it in a theater. the first hour of this movie does so much for the rest of it. it sets everything up in a beautiful, fun, and exciting way. but once the mid point reaches, Anora's life starts to slowly crumble and watching her life crumple like that genuinely made me sad watching.
this isn't the type of movie that you would expect to be a screw-ball comedy, but it really hones in on the fact that it is.
my favorite movie of 2024, also the funniest movie of 2024 by far.

this was actually genuinely super good. i was on the edge of my seat!! i was so stressed for half the movie and angry😡! why wasnt he doing his job half the time! i was so angry when he kept pausing the machine like dude let it keep going. i would of just never put a random earbud in my ear in the first place!
