Wow, I'm blown away that this was the debut feature of Brady Corbet, so impressive, and this viewing made my mouth physically water for the brutalist, to see how he has developed up until this point... Also , the entire team is so spot on, the edit, the long sweeping shots, the immaculate production design, the haunting Yorgos-like score.
Also, some of the most intriguing child acting ive seen in awhile

Now I'm a pretty generous reviewer, I love to give out 5 🌟
Yet this... Simply atrocious..
It had so much potential, but I think the director instead opted to try and make the most stripped back and artsy film he could. But forgot that as a viewer, were not going to be invested in characters or a storyline we do not care about. Ahhh, this just left a foul taste
