-  I have to preface that I usually don’t care for musicals I’ve been putting off this film, The Red Shoes, Singing in the Rain, The Umbrellas of Cherbourg etc for years but wow this was all around amazing. It’s pretty clear that Damien Chazelle is one of the best young filmmakers in mainstream Hollywood and he sure knows how to end a film. I absolutely adore how he captures that euphoric magic at the end of his films.
