Took a trip back to the land of La La and it’s still such an infectiously dazzling time ✨
Rewatching this after Emma Stone’s 2nd Oscar win and her performance as Mia is far better than I remembered. Truly equally so with Bella Baxter. The way she’s able to say so much with just her eyes, coupled with her bright smile and energy in every scene is just true star power. I couldn’t imagine a better first win than this.
This time around, I related a lot more with Seb and his love for Jazz. Ryan Gosling just knows how to nail a dude talking about his passions and helping the ones he loves go forth with theirs. Love him!
