‘’We accept the love we think we deserve’’ is actually so true. Believing someone treating you well is ‘’too good to be true’’ and subsequently self-sabotaging the relationship is a hard cycle to break out of. How we were loved when we were young can really affect how we view love and relationships. It’s hard to feel loved when you don’t love yourself. You need to learn how to value yourself and realise you deserve to be in a loving relationship before you enter one.
The perks of being a wallflower is truly a piece of art.

I love how it shows that sometimes people are put into our lives to teach us important lessons about ourselves. Even if they aren’t meant to stay. Summer needed to learn to be less avoidant & more open and he needed to learn detachment, let things flow and not to be obsessed with uncontrollable things. Love this movie !!
