7/11/2024 Star Rating Update: 

I’ll be seeing it again for its opening weekend. Time will tell if it stays where it’s at, or if I bump it up to the full 5. Nevertheless, this movie is good. REAL good!

6/27/2024 Early Screening Reaction:

Star rating will come later, since as of the date of this entry, this movie is coming out in two weeks.

There was a lightning bug that was flying around, flashing it’s little light during the screening of this movie. No doubt looking to find a mate for some happy time. But once something really scary happened, it took off, and we never saw it again.

I don’t know if fireflies have dreams (then again, I never even thought about bugs having dreams until just now). But if fireflies do dream, the this one that was briefly present inside the Music Box just saved itself from a week’s worth of nightmares by getting the hell out of there.

That’s all I can say about this movie for now. I do have tickets to see this movie again on July 11th. And after careful consideration, I have decided not to cancel those tickets. That’s because I am looking forward to seeing it again with great pleasure, and great fear.
