i absolutely LOOOOOVE the over-the-top gore in this film!!! the kills are so satisfyingly crispy, and the attention to detail is incredible. instead of showing the death outright, the film masterfully builds suspense by peeling back the layers, making your toes curl as each gruesome detail is revealed bit by bit—the freezer and oven scenes? AND GOD YULIA, MY SHAYLAAAA! it's a visceral experience that slasher enjoyers totally lurv 🤩
anyway, hated the americans for THAT though—especially those highschoolers. i'd definitely hunt with the killer if i were there. their bad acting cannot save them.
